Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!
P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
Welcome!

Thanks for adding the Malayalam font. For some odd reason, the Malayalam font doesn't seem to work on certain computers. Some days it works, and other days it comes up showing a bunch of question marks. Is there a way to correct this? Wiki Raja 19:26, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
RE: Regarding Malayalam font
[edit]“ | Raja,
I am not familiar with Malayalam script. I just cut and pasted from the Malayalam wikipedia. Anyway, I haven't noticed the problem you mentioned before. Let me watch for some time and see if I also see that problem. My guess is, it is something to do with your local system. --Sivaraj 06:53, 4 September 2007 (UTC) |

Greetings in Telugu
[edit]Hi,
I have heard that in Malayalam greetings it is Namaskaram or Namaskaramu which are both from Sanskrit. Is there an original Telugu version for greetings? Wiki Raja 01:42, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Infoworld Bossie Awards
[edit]The article Infoworld Bossie Awards has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No indication that these are notable awards (WP:N).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sandstein 17:29, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

Ways to improve Ajayan Bala
[edit]Hi, I'm Atlantic306. Sivaraj, thanks for creating Ajayan Bala!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi, blogspot, imdb and amazon are unreliable sources and need to be replaced by better reliable sources , thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 18:33, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
Copyright violation
[edit]Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article 6 Athiyayam. I have removed the infringing text, but the material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web, and when creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information using your own words. Deletion discussion about Cable Sankar
[edit]Hello, Sivaraj,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Cable Sankar should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cable Sankar .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

[edit]Critical response
[edit]Hi there, re: this, please avoid editorialising in articles in the future. We are not critical response aggregators; it's not our job to decide whether a film received positive response or mixed response or negative response. Those opinions should be directly attributed to specific reliable voices. After all, it would be easy for us to add unconscious bias to an article if we cherrypicked favourable reviews of a film we liked, and then summarised that selection favourably. Or if we happened up on an article where some marketing team cherrypicked positive reviews, and then we attempted to summarise that selection as positive. Also you should note that most quality film articles do not rely on star ratings, they rely on prose that analyses the critical response and finds what some reviewers liked and didn't like. See this for example. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:25, 23 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Disambiguation link notification for October 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sai Pallavi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Love Story. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
